In 6 weeks, you could become proficient in only the very basics of these applications. I did a 6 month program focusing on only one application and that seemed to be barely enough experience for an entry level position. If you’re OK with entry level positions (which means you might not get to edit right away), then you might be OK.

Are you a US citizen? If you are not, it is difficult to get any job without a sponsor.

You can import a batch list of offline clips, then reconnect them using the Link Media command.

Here is just one of the ways Premiere Pro and FCP differ. However, I never adjoined clips the way you described in Premiere Pro or FCP.

Uninstall Premiere Pro CS6 and then download it once more from the Creative Cloud application. That should solve the issue.

Hi Paul,
You might also want to have a look at the animation presets for text in After Effects. Go to the Effects and Presets panel and choose Animation Presets > Text. There are a number of “Animate In” presets there, so check those out and see if there is a stock animation that might suit you.

Hi Michael,
I have seen this request before. Currently, the best way is to lock the tracks you do not want selected, then click with the Track Selection tool. It will select all unlocked tracks.
