Hi Ben,
[Ben Silberfarb] “Unfortunately THIS IS NOT THE CASE. I have loaded 10.9.4 and sadly the same problems/crashes persist.”
Did you test with other software exhibiting similar behavior, such as, BlackMagic Resolve? More info here: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22661
Let us know if that is also the case, or not.
Thanks,

Hi Jorge,
[Jorge Fernandez] “It has to do with Mavericks and Premiere’s OPEN CL 2.0 update. “Can you provide a link to that quote? Because I’m not sure what you’re talking about when you mention “Premiere’s OpenCL 2.0 update.”
Keep in mind that since OS X 10.9.3, other applications besides Adobe software, including Blackmagic software, have also displayed anomalies.
Thanks,

Hi Herb,
You’ve got some good points here. As the docs lead for CS5.5 and CS6, I can appreciate what you have to say.Unfortunately, I don’t think the docs system will have another indexing system, and as Dennis said, search is the best way to find details about an issue.
I will forward this thread to the current docs leads for DV and will see what I can do to help improve the Help experience going forward.
Thanks,

Hi all,
One of our customers over on the Adobe forum solved his issue. He said that several others he knows also solved it.The new MacPro had faulty GPUs.
Here is the link: https://forums.adobe.com/message/6410739#6410739
Those experiencing this issue may want to bring their MacPro to the nearest Apple Store/Genius Bar and have their machine checked out.
Thanks,

Hi Steve,
[Steve Brame] “Unfortunately, when a problem that I cannot track down occurs, I can’t get to anyone near that level. “You have my email. Please feel free to drop me a line if you run into trouble again.
[Steve Brame] “That level of care hasn’t translated down(or over, as it is)to support, at least for us ‘little guys'”
“After suffering through a weekend of troubleshooting and dealing with totally inadequate support, I’d be a bit hesitant to recommend basing your company’s editing platform around Premiere.”
I’m very sorry that you had trouble over a weekend when our support experts are not available. During the week, feel free to chat or call our support line and be sure to ask for the “professional video queue.” That way, you can ensure that you are reaching support professionals with experience in our video products. Over weekends, we only have support for downloading and installation problems. Sorry, but that’s the way it’s been for some time.
Again, contact me if you run into any problems and I’ll do my best to see that you’re helped ASAP.
Thanks,
KevinKevin Monahan
