So, when I butt them together I have to then manually undo the dips.</p>
<p>Is there some setting that will make Vegas stop&hellip;</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t know enough about hardware stuff to feel confident in where I go in &#8220;Options&#8221; or &#8220;Preferences&#8221; to select my sound card so I can hear audio, and I don&#8217;t want to screw anything up just poking around and guessing. I see meters in Vegas but don&#8217;t hear anything (yet).</p>

Every version of Vegas I&#8217;ve had has never played nice with WAV files, so I always use AIFF files. I remember now that the AI tool didn&#8217;t like AIFF, so I used MP3. But, those are PLENTY good enough to get you out of a tough spot like I had.</p>

At time 0:00 everything&#8217;s at 0x-0y-0z, and if you made your position with the picture-in-picture anywhere else but at 0:00, the track motion will definitely want to be moving from the 0-0-0 position at 0:00 to wherever&hellip;</p>

<p>I think just pay attention to making sure you have all tracks selected when you make the cuts, and keep an eagle eye on the post-ripple select/deselect.</p>

What the heck happened with outputting MOV with &#8220;save alpha&#8221; checked? Is anyone else using Fusion who could enlighten me about other possible options?</p>

<p>Now, if I minimize the first instance I can&#8217;t see a way to open a new one. Is there a different way now to cut and paste from one timeline to another?</p>
