    I have made a few HD projects with PI3 and it works great.
    Also recently changed my monitor so as not to have to change my screen size to render but the fact that was able to was a great feature.

    The bullet was done in Lightwave.
    All other was done in PI.
    Rings emitter was modified to make the trail.

    Yes it works and the way I am using but the new PiRender sounds better 🙂

    Will it play a sound file when it is finished rendering?
    Would be a nice feature.

    I use flix pro by wildform to convert to flash.
    It does a very good job.

    480 lines even first.
    486 lines odd first.

    Give Digital Fusion a try as well.
    There DFX version is reasonably priced.
    Since I switched to it from AE, I have never turned back (although I have at times wished I had some of it’s 3D camera stuff).
