Rendering to SWF????
Posted by Mustang_lex on March 6, 2006 at 9:58 pmI wan’t to use some of my Particle Illusion projects on Flash 8. What would be your course of action?

March 7, 2006 at 4:16 amProbably your best bet would be to render to PNG if you want to keep the alpha channel for compositing purposes.
I don’t really use Flash too much… Anyone else have thoughts on this?

March 7, 2006 at 4:29 amI would say PNG as well, but I haven’t used Flash in a long time. Whenever I work on any website intros, the Flash guys I work for insist on Quicktime, which apparently Flash likes much better than other video formats.

March 7, 2006 at 5:54 pmI usually export a sequence of PNG images, that way I don’t have to worry about any extra compression, and then render that to Quicktime.
