If you maneuver your video clip to the track you want and hold the shift key down, you can then maneuver the audio elements to the track you want by pointing to the track you can the first element to drop onto.

PS: Make Heaps of Audio Tracks in advance. Right click over the track names, select Add Tracks and hit in a value of about 16, that sound keep you going for a while 🙂

Are you editing in a Progressive Timeline with Progressive Media?

If you edit in an Interlaced Timeline with Progressive Media and then export as Progressive you will kill some sharpness in removing the sequences interlacing…

More details please. I couldn’t see the interlacing or progressive info of your sequences (Source)…

Have you tried to clean the cache from the preferences?

Then reboot.

Let all the confirm files and indexing finish, might take a min or 2. Visit the dunny and come back.

Once all’s re-cached, export! please report back

I can’t tell what your system is to assist in identifying the potential problem.

Can you tell us if you are playing the video from a separate hard drive and the specs of that drive.

Also is it possible to list the details of the machine here if you can’t find the link again.

I would agree with the black bars being animated in.

However the way I would approach it is to set the top bar and bottom bar as individual clips, could even be a black video that is squashed and position it properly based on the final position and then set position keyframes at the end 1st. Then move back in time and animate them away to the position you need them to start in as the 2nd set of position keyframes.

This is not default behaviour.

There is a way to set the playhead to jump the position of the mouse on the timeline, but that is something you need to manually assign.

I would clean/trash your preferences.

Before you do, you might want to export any custom presets you have made in the Effects Panel, as they get trashed too.

To clean/trash preferences you will need to launch Premiere Pro and hold down the Shift Key until the Application has finished launching.

You know this has worked if the Start Panel doesn’t show the list of previously opened projects and is blank.

If it didn’t work you might need to repeat launch and hold down SHIFT and ALT during the whole launch.

Let us know how that goes.

With the clip selected in the timeline and the Effect Control Panel open showing the Crop Effect you need to select the Crop Effect Name itself. This will select the crop points on the layer which you can grab the corners in the Program Monitor Panel.

Hope this helps.

The same technique works with selecting the “Motion” property of a clip then you can manipulate the scale position and rotation of the clip in the Program Monitor Panel.

I would like to see the export. While working I don’t have an issue with the program monitor not looking super clean. I want to see what I am editing and work fast and know my export comes out at quality, which I have always seen it does.

So please do a compare of the export.
