create a cycle? how would that work towards getting continuous velocity on an objects rotation – or any parameter for that matter?

    thanks

can i point it to a general folder that has sub folders in it?

Mylenium/people – it would be cool to have a tutorial that discussed workflows and file managementfor c4d. i have a good system for AE/design/video work, but how people structure their presets, proj dpecific files, versioned renders.

seems like a lot of .c4d files get generated in the process of batch rendering/having multiple camera angles/set-ups and scenes.

    thanks
my question was when working with shaders do you start with a preset shader type (danel, banzi) and modify it or is there a blank shader to start from.

i appreciate all the help, i know im a beginner thats why i’m asking questions.

    happy late valentines day mylenium

is it possible to build custom shaders? if so, do i just modify shaders like cheen and danel, or is there a way to add parameters. that would be rad to build sliders for materials.

the magnet tool wants to grab the face of this object and pull it off/distort it.

i have tried selecting the poly of just the4 face i want to round, as well as all the polys

basically i am trying to make 3d filligrees, like what you would see on old silver silverware. i have the outlines, but am trying to make more rounded shapes.

    thanks

thanks, but with the sketch render tag, with allow lines selected, i still see the base shading for the object

i made it work by applying a transparent material to the object with the sketch material. from what it sounds like this is somethign i can do through excluding.

where exactly is that- sorry i didt follow when you said it first.

    thanks

but youre saying xfrog would likely be able to react to wind?

also, we downloaded the demo, it seems to only be able to build, it doesnt come with any textures or plant models. this is a not for profit job, but to have at their models that ship with xfrog, are we going to have to buy the full thing?
