In my opinion,it’s very hard.but, have you tried removing the grain in AE with the filter “remove grain”?

I’m afraid that it’s impossible to track something out of the screen. But maybe you can track the object which is in the screen and keeps still comparing to the object you want to track. For example since the advertise is going out of the screen, maybe you can track the cab, especially the back part of te cab(it could be still in the screen when the advertise had gone out). Then you will be able to get the motion datas of the advertise.wish to be helpful. You can achieve it by adjusting the position of sttach point and it’s off set .

Excuse me,but did you turn on the advanced 3D setings if you were using an AE5.5?
I used to met such trouble.
If you did or you are using AE6.5 and you sure that every setting about layer order is right,I think there is a little trick whick can handle it, if your composition is not too complicated.
Duplicate the “flickering” layer , the camera, lights, and the parent layers of it (if it was contraled by a parent layer).Make sure that the duplicates can work well with each other.recomposite them into a new layer.now you can see that the layers behind them will never make any trouble.A 3D layer will never go over a 2D layer above it.:)

November 13, 2005 at 2:23 am in reply to: COMIC-LIFE. AMAZING! Comic book video filters?

I feel that Chinese painting is a little simillar to comic painting sometime. Here is my tutorial about it.BTW,it also including a comic effect in the project file.I adjust Chinese painting effect and turn it into a comic-like effect. The defect of this effect is that it’s hard to add texture only for some certain fields.

On the other hand, you might achieve it in Photoshop with the help of some plugins like “Sketch Master”.here is the link of their web site:

    Wish to be helpful.

I think it might be better to track in AE and adjust the motion by hand.If you want to ajdust it only by hand ,it could be a hard work.

since that you can get it to go round and round her,the only thing you should do next is to duplicate the text layer.then detach the parts which should be placed in front of the girl by track matte and masks.place them over the girl layer and place the aborginal text layer under the girl layer.you might need to add some key frames for mask shapes, but it will not be very complicated.wish to be helpful.

Have you tried exporting your animation in AI sequence?it will fulfill you requirment. But the only trouble you wight meet with is that sometimes when an AI sequence was imported into AE,it looks alittle different from what it was in Flash.
