    Hi,
Is there a way of using flash animations within After effects so that they are scalable with in AE? I understand that you can export SWF, but we are doing a cartoon animation, with have done character animations in flash, now we would like to move them through space in After effects. We have used PNG sequences which are ok, but they are not vector based and we can’t scale up on those sequences.

    any ideas?

    Cheers

Useful Things from Profound Effects used to do this. I’m not too sure on the product’s development or support at this time though. The product’s been sold to Sony.

What you should do is to scale up in Flash and export the PNG’s again. having said that there is a possibility that QTPro may be able to do this with the SWF file. Try it out on a short SWF sequence.

Have you tried exporting your animation in AI sequence?it will fulfill you requirment. But the only trouble you wight meet with is that sometimes when an AI sequence was imported into AE,it looks alittle different from what it was in Flash.
