Are you using the de-interlace filter in filter section of the inspector in compressor? Don’t.
De-interlace via the pop-up in the frame control/resizing control section.

If that is what you are using, I have no idea why it is not working.
Works here, using Compressor 3.

Josh,
I’ve battled this for more than a year with no joy.
Same as you render out to HDV, drops cleanly into the timeline, get immediate dropped frame errors. Every time.
I resorted to rendering to animation and rendering again in the FCP timeline.

I’ve starting editing in DVCPro HD recently since upgrading my AJA board, but haven’t yet tested AE renders in this format

With 5 major projects underway, I’d need a unbelievably compelling reason to upgrade. Wait if you can.
