Hey
Colorama effect might help you. Just apply Colorama to your footage or to the adjustment layer, change the Output Cycle to Ramp Gray and there you go.
I’m sure you;ll find your way around it. Play with the Output Cycle.
Good luck.

In fact you’re right Steve. Even if it would be possible to do it would make no sense, unless someone wants to know when the movie was rendered 😉
But because I am AECracker and ExpressionJunkie I’ve actually found a way of getting the CURRENT TIME on a local computer in after effects.
I’ll do some more experiments on it and make a sensible response to this post. Maybe even a tutorial 😉
Cheers

I did press Shift+V by accident one time, but from that moment on I was using only V and P. And when I play the thing in the timeline window everything is ok. Only when I Render the WAV file it’s the same as the original one.

That is exactly what I’m saying. What shall I do?
I used the Shift+P and Shift+V to create envelopes, and then
used V and P to hide/show them in the project window. It’s my first time in Vegas, so maybe I’m doing something wrong,
but I just can’t see that that might be. -
Im using it and the thing is that the changes do not appear

It all depends on the degree of realism you’re looking for. If it’s only meant to look like piece of cardboard with your face printed on it than you can use one of my tutorials called “Censoring”. Unfortunately my site is down at the moment, but it should be back in a day or two.
In the meanwhile you might be interested in Andrew Kramers Demon Face tutorial.

I’m 99% sure that Particular has a subframe sampling option somewhere, and that’s what you need. As far as i remember it only applies to custom particles, but even if you’re using build it particles (like glowing sphere) you can simply recreate that particle on your own.
Let me know if it helps. I just can’t check it right now.
Thanks

Just to let you know guys… I’m preparing a special CustomEffect, that will allow complex animation like the one you’ve mentioned to be as simple to do as possible, by animating everything for you. Well… maybe not everything, but it will keep the amount of keyframes and the time needed to produce such complex effect at minimum.
I’ve thought it up especially for “growing elements” but it can be used in different animations.
It’s not ready yet, but I think it will be soon.
Oh… and as usual, it will probably be totally free. How does that sound, huh? 🙂
