When you choose the QT conversion export, what settings are you using? Seems to me that you should just export a self contained QT movie instead, and use that file in Toast for the DVD burn.

If your compression is stopping, so will the batch monitor. Sounds like the file you’ve sent to compressor has corrupted media in it. It’s likely the clips which are the same percentage in from the front of the sequence that the Batch monitor gets to. So if it stops about 50% in, look at the area of the sequence 50% in and try re rendering or rebuilding that section of the sequence.

Try enlarging that row in Motion Tab.. you click on the bottom line just beneath the part of the window that contains the green line, and drag down… will enlarge that area a lot…

Really strange. Wish I had a quick fix, but don’t other than reinstalling software.

I can’t say I see this or anything, but if it’s only during playback of a reference movie, it’s not really going to get in your way. It’s likely a playback problem, and if you were to use the reference movie in another app or create a web stream from it, it won’t show up in that new media file created, I’ll bet.
