I’ve run into a bit of a problem with variable speed, and I’m pretty sure it’s just something simple that I’m forgetting.

Whenever I go to any of my clips and change it to a variable speed, for some reason I can barely move the Bezier handles that show up in the motion tab of the clip. The handles are there, but when I click them to drag them, they BARELY move up and down (I can’t even really see a curve at all when I do it).

I looked up a tutorial, and on the tutorial his original, unalterred ‘speed line’ was running constantly slanted upwards, and was in the middle, so the handles had room to move around.

On my motion tab (on almost all of my clips), this speed line is FLAT and is at the very bottom of the screen, and I’m thinking maybe this is why the handles cant be moved? I’m not sure, whatever it is I’m sure it’s something rediculosly simple that I’ve messed up. Please, if you have any advice, let me know!

Try enlarging that row in Motion Tab.. you click on the bottom line just beneath the part of the window that contains the green line, and drag down… will enlarge that area a lot…

Nope, just tried it but the line remained near the very bottom and the Bezier handles still don’t move. Thanks for your suggestion though! Keep em coming!
