I am not sure if you are using Windows xp or if you are using a 64 bit operating system and 64 bit Vegas (as your program reference does not contain the (x86) on the program folder).

I had a similar issue with 10b when opening a project I had Noise Reduction applied on from Sound Forge 9. I was opening the project in the 64 bit version of Vegas and instead of it telling me that all the plugins did not load, it just crashed. Once I opened the project in the 32 bit version of Vegas 10b all was well.

Perhaps it is something as simple as this, but I would encourage you to go back to your Vegas 9 project in Vegas 9, save it under a different name, and see what fx you have applied. Remove them one by one and try opening the new project again in 10 after each removal.

It sounds like a corrupt install of BCC. The best bet would be to uninstall BCC and reinstall it after restarting the system.

If that doesn’t work try restoring your machine to an earlier state before the BCC install and then try downloading BCC7 again and installing again.

Without error messages general help is about all that can be offered. If the error messages are too detailed, you may want to contact Borisfx about the issue you are having with the error messages in hand.

You can select all the markers (click the first one and then Shift click the last one) and move one to adjust for the adjustment and then all of the other markers should follow suite.

I haven’t been ignoring you, I’m just not familiar with the workflow as I don’t use Beta SP. Sorry. Perhaps someone will see this that is familiar and they can help.

Sorry I didn’t answer the basics. I know that is forum posting 101.

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 10b (32 and 64). I am runing a dual boot machine with both Vista ultimate 64 and Windows 7 64. I have 8 gigs of ram and two quad core processors running the machine.

I think I have the most up-to-date version, it more than likely is that I don’t know how to use the effect properly as the pdf help file is not tailored to Vegas.

Perhaps you could tell me what you are doing to make it work or detail for me how the functionality is to work within Sony Vegas?

Hi Peter. Thanks for the response. I have version BCC704OFX_32Bit_Release and the 64 bit one. Are these not most current?

Also, has the help file been updated (the pdf)?

Have you tried removing the audio file from its current directory and placing it elsewhere (another drive perhaps)? If it’s not needed, you can delete the audio file. If it is attached to the video file (from a camera) you can more than likely demux it using any number demuxers out there. You can also try muting that audio track (the mute button is on the track header and it will make that audio track a darker gray).

Did you use curves or some other fx? I have had this happen with curves (at least I think it was curves or a newbluefx fx) when I push too far. If this is straight, uncorrected footage I am at a loss. If you are indeed using fx, uncheck them one at a time and see if you can narrow down the culprit. If you are only using one, set it back to 0 and monitor the footage as you recreate your desired look and see where the problem comes in.

John,

I am confused by the 2 hour 15 minute limit. Are you saying that this is the limit for a certain preset within Vegas? I know that you know (probably better than I) that you can increase the time allowed by lowering the bitrate or decrease it by upping the bitrate. What am I missing?
