    Before I was frustating too.

But witt MC 3 and Animate Effect from Key Effect, it is an easy task.

Just make two layer of identical title. But below track is a color one and above full white text.

Go to Step In of Above layer, and Apply the Animate Efect on Postive title (not alpha).

Create a “Barn Door” Mask in Effect Editor menu, slight rotate, feathering, make two key frame in and out of this Slider Mask Effect.

    Hope it helps.

    A bit difficult to tell.

Just share my Experience in PAL.

Create Empty or transparency bakground of 768 x 576 in PhotoShop size.

Make sure your logo has alpha chanel. Define a position where it should be.

If you don’t have, you have to make it by yourself (hope you understand how to do that. If not, you have a long way to become as a standard Editor).

Merge the layer and save it as PSD file.

Import in AVID as Maintain, Square, Single Field and 610/709 use existing or Invert Alpha.

    Mine work fine.

    In my experience:

Go to Photoshop, make new file 768 x 576 (PAL).

Place and scalling your logo. Save it in targa or PSD with Alpha Channel.

When import, select Maintain, Square Pixel, Single Field and 601/709.

    Hope it help.
