I was wondering how it would be possible to capture a DVD… I tried converting the files, but the quality was poor and it was taking way too long (when it even worked correctly).

I hooked up my Samsung DVD player with an S-Video cable into my computer… But when I go to Avid to capture, it says No Deck and there is no place on the Capture Tool to change ways of capturing (All I see is Host: 1394)… Am I missing something or is it not possible to do?

Sorry I have been away from avid for a year and everything is new to me again… any info would be of help. Thanks.

    Do you have a Mojo?

Another way is to use StreamClip. Google it and follow the readme. You either need QT Pro, or Quicktime alternate. It’s all in the readme.
