1080i 1080p compat issue
Hey guys,
I’m cutting some XDCAM EX footage, shot at 1080p/29.97.
Working with the new 3.5 MCSoft, and got it in okay, although stumbled over the AMA audio bug, which I hope to hell they will have fixed soon, and now have discovered I can’t apparently create titles for any of this stuff because the only title save options I have are 1080i and when I save the title, the “unsupported resolution” pop up appears, I can’t load the title into the source window, nor cut it into the sequence.
Any ideas about a workaround anyone? Anyone had to work with 1080p material and already slay this dragon?

Maybe do the titles in Photoshop and import them?

I wonder how your prohect setting is.
Since no 1080i or 1080p supprot for 29,97 in my Avid MC 3.0.
