You’re best off exporting the clip you are compositing your graphics over as a reference file and doing the final render in AE. I know this can’t always be planned and the idea is to have graphics done, in a bin and waiting but other than what ya already did, thats your work around.
Sometimes you can change the color of your comp’s background to make it less bogus. lol
I have to admit to doing that a time or two.

I like to use two layers with color affects and animatte. I find more control this way but certainly nothing wrong with the technique already mentioned.

outside of resetting the open gl card and/or reinstalling, dunno.
I do find it interesting that the bugs found with plugins are with the plugins it ships with… not higher end plugs like sapphire. Perhaps they teamed up with the wrong vendor. -
the animatin codec will always work if you hve a compatability doubt. I’d use the uncompressed meridien codec in this case just cuz it’ll import so mch faster.

you can key in some color on track 2 with your saturation removed witha color effect on V1 and/or you can matte it in via animatte or masks in AE.

apply time warp, open the effect controls, open your ramp in your time warp and adjust keyframes to your liking. You can close the effect editor when done.
You can also just match fram a clip in your sequence and use a motion effect from that point. -
all of your clips will be in your omfi folder(s).
You’ll use media tool to manage files per project. -

These systems were made turnkey and are not upgradable unless ya count a trade in.
Great box for em to learn on though. No firewire and the compression doesn’t look wonderful but they’ll be able to bang the heck out of it wuth less crashes than most modern day adrenaline drivers.
Throw AE and photoshop on it if they are not already laoded. More than enough to get em goin.
