    Good day avid fans,

I am working on mograph for a client editing in express pro HD. They are working in NTSC Anamorphic and I was wondering what the best setting and codec to use. I am planning to to my comps 864×486, rendering to 720×486 (lower field) QT animation files. Is there a better Avid codecI should use?

    Thanks in advance!!

The animation CODEC is probably the best to use. Between a Meridian system and 2 XPress Pro HD systems, I’ve never had a problem getting an animation-based file into any of my systems.

the animatin codec will always work if you hve a compatability doubt. I’d use the uncompressed meridien codec in this case just cuz it’ll import so mch faster.
