Thanks for your reply.
I didn’t realize that when you add a new clip to a group you need to switch the new clip to “group pre-clip” or the group grade won’t show in the new clip.

Thanks Juan! it was staring at me all along and I missed it.
Is there a way to see if it the ext matte is “lining up” with the shot without switching back to the node where I added the matte?
Thx!

It’s hard to answer which computer without knowing the prices and what kind of footage you’re working with but if the MacPro is a good price relative to the others I wouldn’t dismiss that as an option.
You can RAID 0 the non OS internal drives, which are relatively cheap and update the GPU if need be and it can still be pretty fast machine. It’s all about finding the best price vs performance.Cheers,

Got a reply on the Adobe Forum, they are investigating and I will post their findings when I hear back.

Hi There,
I am running Premiere 6.01 and Resolve with those 2 cards under the same configuration as Francois, it works fine for me.

I had the same issue.

Hey Kate,
Adobe is aware of this issue and is working on it, there’s a pretty extensive thread on it on another forum, your “trolling” skills need a little honing, I’m afraid. 🙂
Cheers,
Gerry

June 3, 2012 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro CS 6 and AVCHD – Should I upgrade now or wait?Hi Keith,
I would definitely wait if I were you, or at least give the 30 day trial a shot first. A lot of people, myself included, are having problems with XDCAM EX footage and some other formats in CS6 (that play fine in SC 5.5.2). If you do a little searching you’ll see a few threads on this elsewhere.
Cheers,
Gerry

Hey Nick,
Tried that, didn’t work, unfortunately. I finished the project in CS5, hopefully this is an exception and going forward I will have a better experience.
Cheers,

Importing the project didn’t work, and these looked like tape drop outs as well. I also tried re-importing the folders but it still happens.
Bummer, I was hoping for a more stable/consistent experience in Premiere 6
Thanks!
