If you have Ignore Event Grouping turned off (default) then wherever you move the video, its audio will follow.

Beyond that, you’ll have to explain more clearly what you are doing when things go wrong.

The important thing is what the settings are that you use for the render.

For example, to match what you already are working with, set the following in the render dialog:

Save as type: avi
Template: Default (uncompressed)
Then in Custom tab: Video: Frame Size 320 x 240

FYI, the preferred method is to capture video in DV avi which is much more compressed, but may look evn better than what you are getting at the reduced frame size. You need a device (box or camcorder) that will transcode the analog signal to digital, though. DV avi is 13 Gigs/hour.

Set up one title the way you want, then select all the titles you want to make the same way.
Ctrl/Click the one you want to copy from if it’s not selected. If it is selected, Ctrl/Click twice to make sure it’s the LAST one that was selected. Then right-click and choose Apply Formatting to Selected Events.

If you want to pause and blur all at the same instant. Then I’d suggest making a still image of that frame and insert it at the right moment in the video. Apply the blur just to the still.

Otherwise, the best way to proceed is to create the still by using a velocity envelope ramped or set to 0%. The apply he blur to the track using keyframes (normally you could just add it to the event, but the velocity envelope will complicate things). Not sure what problem you are having with keyframes, but make sure you turn on the sync cursor to make it easier to adjust the keyframes where you need them.

Have a main Menu page with a button each for Act1 and Act 2, then submenus from those pages if you want. Always have a way for the viewer to navigate back to the main page.

My DVDA 3 training has an index booklet. The DVDA2 training doesn’t, but has a complete menu system with topics.

No need to delete the cam tracks. When you render it only incudes what can be seen when you play your project.
