You can create a new submix track, put all the volume keyframes in this track and send all the audio tracks you want to take this volume keyframes to this submix with the audio mixer.

Yep, blue screens very often mean a hardware problem. Glad to know your machine runs great now.

Ok, that´s why avchd is not a recommended format for editing. This issue doesn´t happens with DV footage.
    Thanks Tom.

The last time i had same errors (1 year driving me crazy) the problem was with the motherboard and communication ports to my HDDs Raid.
Changed the motherboard and no more disgusting blue screen. If i haven´t found the problem, i´ve had bought a new pc.
If you have a warranty use it, and if not perhaps your work deserves buying a new machine.

June 24, 2012 at 9:59 am in reply to: Add Video Effect to Group of Clips or Track?

    2 ways:

1- apply effects to one clip, then “copy” the clip, select all the clips where you want to paste the effects and “paste atributes”

2- Nest the sequence into a new one and apply the effects to the nested seq.

Try to add the garbage mate to a black video, then apply a fast blur to this black video and use this clip as a mate. I think that will work.

  • You´ll need one clip for each text to animate them individually.
They can be dragged in the same video track sequentially or in upper video tracks (layers as you say) if they appear at the same time. You can copy the animated effects from one clip and paste to all the others (right click in timeline clip, copy, then select all the other clips and “paste attributes”). If the animation for each text clip is different but very similar, then you only need to change the desired parameter in the copied and pasted effect of each clip.

June 1, 2012 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Project Manager – Premiere Pro CS5

Same problem happens with subclips, Proyect manager exports one copy of every master clip from which the subclip was taken, i think this must be an unsolved PPro bug that still happens in cs5.5. I thought it could be caused by the original video files encoding but i´ve tried with several formats and codecs and still happening. Sorry, no answer for your question…

I encountered this error plenty of times in 5.5, disable the options for saving Preview files and audio conformed files and try again, it works for me.

  • This article could be useful:
    https://www.telestream.net/company/press/2011-03-31.htm

What they don´t say is if this prores codec will be available or integrated INTO Adobe Media Encoder coding options, but if not i think footage could be exported to a non compressed fortmat and then converted to ProRes with any of the applications of Telestream, Episode Encoder or FlipFactory.
