I must say the dv/dvcpro ntsc codec looks very soft. Its not crisp at all and just looks slightly washed out and not sharp. It also takes up more space than the photo-jpeg which is kind of funny.
I think what the person is asking is if most avids can detect the quicktime file and I guess re render it in the avid timeline so it can be sent to the deck.
Im not sure for AE if there are more plugins but Im in the same need as you. I need a tracking program. I heard that pftrack, boujou which was icarus(used to be freeware) and matchmove are among the top 2d and 3d tracking softwares.
Fantastical guys thanks. I will try the scaling the clip. Being that its a shot for a short movie, if I add some letterbox bars on top and bottom it might help doing that alone. Thanks
Ok I imported the folder with the frames. I then clicked the first frame and see nothing. I control clicked it and i just get interpret footage stuff. Can I further help someone in getting this sequence to play?
Yes my photoshop has been switching this up on me lately. The pic I wwanted to pull into my blank document was shot with a digital camera so i suppose it was 16 bit. Thanks
