Where are you seeing this? On a TV? On a computer monitor?

If you build the DVD for TV, you can see some of this on a computer because TV’s are interlaced where a computer screen is progressive.

As long as the MPEG2 file is DVD compliant and the project type matches that file, DVDA should not recompress it. Use one of the DVDA preset in Vegas then make sure the project type is the same in DVDA.

I have had that happen a couple of times. A reboot and all was well in my case. You could always try something like Scenalyzer Live instead and see how it works for you. I use it too and it performs very well for me.

I believe what you are discribing was a known problem with 6.0 that was resolved in 6.0a. Definitely, as mentioned before, get the 6.0b update. It won’t ask for your serial number (but, if it did, you 6.0 number WILL work).

Yeah, this is a new thing in Excalibur 4.5. I always process an entire timeline at once so didn’t think of what might happen if only using a selection area. Fortunately it’s easy to delete them all using Excalibur’s delete markers tool.

Deleting the original video tracks should not affect the takes in any way. I’m not sure what you mean by “jumbled”.

After running multi-cam, you can also safely delete the following tracks:
MasterTally
MasterOverlay
MasterTally2

Once Multi-cam is finished, those three tracks are no longer needed.

Many people in the wedding community have also started using iRivers. You need one that allows an external mic and then you use it like a wireless and just bring the extra audio in separately.

We use an Azden UDR series wireless mic for this purpose.
