video capture problem
I am using vegas 6 for the third time today video capture has froze and would not respond can anyone help

I have had that happen a couple of times. A reboot and all was well in my case. You could always try something like Scenalyzer Live instead and see how it works for you. I use it too and it performs very well for me.
