    Hey Kate,

Are you running Xpress Pro with the mojo & the dig design board? If so, the digi design board is not talking to your system. Give everything a total restart, computer, digi board , mojo. Hate to do it but sometimes a “good fix for now”

    see ya

Hey Rocman I’m in agreement with Michael on your first question…as for the second question I suspect in your timeline settings that the “DEFAULT SNAP TO is checked on, uncheck and you should be okay…just a nother change in the upgrade.

    Hope this helps

    Hey Ryan,
You’re probably seeing the the edging of a 720×486 screen depending what your source is. Just put a left & right crop on your effect to get rid of the edge.
    Hope this helps.

Hey Gene I knew it was to good to be true. Maybe I’m using the wrong words.
The “snap to” that I was refering to is the option that allows me to place my cursor on a clip on the timeline and hit my mappable button so from that point forward or behind it, is automatically deleted. It saves me keystrokes of having to put an inpoint & outpoint, and then cutting the shot out. I think AVID may be holding out on this one.

    Thnks for your time!

Hey Michael thanks for the tips. I tried the illusions tc window burn that is in the AVID goodies folder but it’s a render that I have no time for. I’ll take a surf for the real time version you’re talking about. I also give Horita a spin.

    Thanks Again Take care

    Hey Josh
you have to pic your 2 clips, in your bin, then group them. Then take that group onto your timeline. From there you can play the 2 in realtime and ad edits on the fly as you watch. Then go back after and trim your clips up to fine tune it. Check the help menu ‘it’s all there.

    Have fun!!
