Hold up….how many keyframes are thre in the scroll?
If there are more than two, it’s entirely likely that it’s the keys themselves that are generating the jerkiness.
Can you send a link to a sample?

This article is about “Color Pass” and will help you understand the process. JetDV has a multiple color pass article on his site as well.

There are many ocular lens/sight overlays on the web with transparency. Simply lay it in with a mask…you’ll be good to go

Norman, not sure why you’d get the impression I was upset? Merely clarifying the question…

No, I’m refuting your suggestion that converting to PNG is a “Sony thing,” when it’s an “all NLE thing.”
No nle performs well with monster pix on the timeline. All NLE’s prefer the above mentioned formats over JPEG. Most NLE’s require an external decode for .tif.

Vegas doesn’t save a .dar file, you’ll need to export your timeline as an mpeg for DVD Architect to open/import the file. It requires a render.
    File/render as/MPEG2/ NTSC DVD Architect

SONY doesn’t prefer png, all NLE systems prefer jpg, png, tga.
tif requires an external decoder, which slows down the system. It’s not a “vegas thing” but rather an industry standard.

Actually, it wouldn’t be very hard to make WAX work in Vegas 8, but it’s a free product and there is no incentive to update. I can’t blame Satish for not updating for the past 3 revs.
