Does Wax work in Vegas 8?
Just wondered if this fine plug in by Satish works (integrates) into and with Vegas 8. His web site says Vegas 6 — just wondering.?

The WAX plugins that I have that worked in Vegas 5 do not in 8. It sees them but it locks up the program anytime I try to select them. I can’t say for sure if that will happen in your situation.

Sorry guys,
Wax cannot work in sony vegas 8, its programming would
have to be updated. Wax would have been a really versatile
filter for Vegas, if its developers had invested in its

Actually, it wouldn’t be very hard to make WAX work in Vegas 8, but it’s a free product and there is no incentive to update. I can’t blame Satish for not updating for the past 3 revs.
