Hi,
If you have this option selected, as mine, FCP will analyze and decide which channels to show. Some cameras record 8 channels of audio, but only 1 or 2 channels are recorded. If you set the stereo on the camera, the first 2 channels will be recorded, and the other 6 will be empty, and FCP won’t show them as there is nothing on those channels. If you set mono recording on the camera, FCP will show you mono channels and stereo channels if there are any, and hide the empty channels. You can check the inspector audio settings to see what you have.

I wish there were an easy way to remove those markers. If they are in a different shade of a green than the green box, it could be removed with keying. However, the most effective way is to track and remove afterwards. If you can use Mocha, it is very effective.

There will always be a compression if your goal is to decrease the size. Exporting to MP4 with the
H. 264 codec for greater compatibility at a bitrate of 40 Mbps would be sufficient quality for use on 4K screens.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but as a long-time Mac user, I just wonder why you need to use an anti-virus on a Mac.
Maybe downloading pirated software may cause some malware harm, but otherwise, I don’t think there is a need to use anti-virus software on a Mac.

The only thing is, you don’t have to export it in ProRes, use H264 that’s more than enough.
For the sound quality, you set up your timeline 48Khz, that’s all you need. All good.
