This is a new branding operation.
They want to streamline the naming similarity between all their brands. No other software has Pro, like Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
They added Pro to Creative Cloud. Now it is Creative Cloud Pro. It became Pro with AI support.

Well, yes, unfortunately, there is no way to avoid that.
Adding a sequence marker may help to find the frame you want to extend.

So, anybody on the design of new icons? Can we retain the old icons with our existing licenses?

So I have a video here to clarify what is needed. I drag-select the edit point with the command key. Playhead moves to the selected edit point, and I can drag the cursor to the time that I want to extend, and I can extend with a keystroke or by dragging the edit point. I can do a regular drag or ripple extend. Does this workflow work, or is it something else?

Depending on your machine and version of FCP, do you see these options under the retime menus?
If you can see these options, try them; if not, you should check the quality after rendering and setting the viewer at 100%

If you have this option selected, as mine, FCP will analyze and decide which channels to show. Some cameras record 8 channels of audio, but only 1 or 2 channels are recorded. If you set the stereo on the camera, the first 2 channels will be recorded, and the other 6 will be empty, and FCP won’t show them as there is nothing on those channels. If you set mono recording on the camera, FCP will show you mono channels and stereo channels if there are any, and hide the empty channels. You can check the inspector audio settings to see what you have.

Hi,
I wish there were an easy way to remove those markers. If they are in a different shade of a green than the green box, it could be removed with keying. However, the most effective way is to track and remove afterwards. If you can use Mocha, it is very effective.
