So, anybody on the design of new icons? Can we retain the old icons with our existing licenses?

January 16, 2026 at 6:43 pmI am pretty sure I read that the purchased versions keep the old icon and the rental versions have the new icon and both can be installed on the computer simultaneously.

January 17, 2026 at 8:25 pmAs for what the future brings, I don’t worry about what doesn’t exist. I’m happy with the status of the apps now, and that’s all that matters. If things change in the future I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. No use crying over what doesn’t exist.
IMHO, the new icons looks like they are trying to sell children’s toys. I hate them. Will both versions have different icons? No one knows yet, just speculation. If you’ve not seen it in black and white from Apple, it’s speculation.
