    Hi Eddie,

Can you give me more details on what you need? You have an image during the song, and what do you need? Animating the image?

  • Hi,

The first thing that comes to my mind is that the bitrate of the video is too high for the telephone to play back smoothly. Could you try with a smaller bitrate? And what bitrate settings did you use?

  • Hi, sorry for this. A terrible issue.

I just wonder how it wiped the project file and auto save files. Does it say ‘corrupt’ for the project file or something else? And did you check the places where auto-save could be located? Normally, there are 3 default places (Even this shows how badly Premiere is built for stability), one is the documents folder, the other is the same folder as the project file, and the last one is inside the Premiere folder in the applications folder. No luck at any of these 3 places?

It seems all good here. New or old projects, no problems so far.

The only thing is, I am not sure about this glassy, glossy design. It feels as if it is the first days of user interface designs, not old but ugly, primitive design, that’s what makes me feel.

Does OMF work for you? We try exporting OMF when we have problems with AAF.

    Hi,

I don’t know if this is the reason, but I never click the two options under Enable. Render audio and include clip…

I don’t think these 2 options are necessary for audio work. You may try deselecting those two and see if it helps.

And maybe instead of collecting all the audio, you may choose to trim audio files with a 50-frame handle.

Yes, as Jeremy mentioned, you can change the location to an external drive. Just select your library and change the location in the inspector.

And honestly, that slowdown issue when you put everything in the library is a myth.

This is another folder at the end of the day. The main factor for slowness is the computer’s power and the hard drive speed, and the space left. Right now, all the computers have SSDs, and external drives are SSDs, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

    Hi,

Yes, of course you can do that. You need to consolidate your media.

First, select your library and from the File Menu choose Consolidate Media. It will copy all the media from anywhere on your hard drives or network drives into the FCP Library.

    Hi,

Not exactly the same one, but I have a similar problem too. Sometimes when I set my In and Out points in the timeline, it does not show the correct duration. I change the In or Out point to see if it changes, but no luck. Only after I double-click a clip or go to another sequence and come back to the one I was working on then it becomes normal. I guess this is one of those little bugs in 25.

No, I don’t think there is a built-in way in Premiere to do this. Only when you use the Simplify menu, you choose to remove the disabled. And the Excalibur plug-in lets you do this, as far as I can remember
