found this old thread, i dont have any manuals for CRT SDI cards(all of mine are Component with AJA boxes doing the work). Keep digging you might find what you are looking for. The sony option cards though usually come with a small amount of literature that just literally says unscrew this, place coax here and refer to the Manual for operatopnal help.

I had a demo of CS3 AE and trashed it, then i tried to install a legit CS3 and it wouldn’t. There is no physical way to find all the little adobe files. i had to reinstall the demo then do a clean unistall..that worked..

Usually they just snap in. But sometimes Sony make you disassemle boards but the components come with instructions. No instructions with the card?

DG just copied the Telestream Setting for “Contribution” 18MBs 422 720×512. The Digital Rapids Encoder is good enough and will do this profile, you can pad VBI and embed 608 cc if needed for other Vendors. I love Rhozet for farming and it’ll also do the m2t 302m’s needed for DG HD content.

Animation Codecs are what most of our clients deliver HD content to us in. Its usually a win win situation. there are never any color space issues ie illegal levels because they simply cant be in a RGB space. Its was just this particular Spot. The clients AE 23.98 render in animation produced static 7th and 8th frames in FCP. I was suspect of the clients animation because QT player wasn’t reading the FPS correctly. I then rerenderd from a new AE comp the SGI image sequence in 23.98.. Again FCP would not import the correctly into the time.So i just rendered the SGI in FCP and all became kosher the birds started singing again..
kinda sounds like a bug to me, but where??

for the money QT Pro export will make decent h.264 encodes and for 30 bucks who can complain..
