    hey guys,
I blew it and trashed my after effects cs3 before reading that you must use the adobe unistall to properly get rid of the program. Now I can’t reinstall the software. Is there any way to uninstall AE manually?

Adobe provides a tool to clean installs off your machine, handily called CS3 Clean.

It will blast *all* Adobe applications though, so watch out if you also have any other Adobe programs installed. It will also get rid of your previous authorisations. If you failed to deauthorise your programs before uninstalling, this may cause problems when you try to reinstall again.

You may have to make that call to Adobe support anyways. :o)

    Cheers,
    Ben

I had a demo of CS3 AE and trashed it, then i tried to install a legit CS3 and it wouldn’t. There is no physical way to find all the little adobe files. i had to reinstall the demo then do a clean unistall..that worked..
