I believe the latest system firmware is:

    VERSION: 2.03=00-0.00

I was confused as to whether Jan was stating that firmware for 16 GB cards was available but not the cards.

She later clarified, I believe, by saying that the 16 GB firmware is NOT AVAILABLE.

V.2.03 APPEARS to be the most current firmware avaiable.

    Two things:

It is likely an issue with the Pyro card.

Second, there have been a few issues with the front port of the Mac.

Use the back ports. I just reporting what I’ve read, so I can’t tell you why the problems exists.

It would be helpful to learn what firmware you were using and what settings in cam and the FS100.

    Record from what source?

All that has worked in sending a FW feed from FCP on a Mac with the HVX200 in the MCR mode.

[scott allman] “Can anyone enlighten me on why there is such a large range and what I need to be aware of if I purchase from someone who is selling at such a low price. What is the catch?”

    There is no catch.

You simply will not get a HVX200 at that price.

    resellerratings.com

Buy only from a USA Panasonic Authorized dealer.

The lowest price I’ve seen is about $5K, and $5299.00 seems about the norm
