    The Raylight Decoder for Quicktime has been released. It decodes Apple Quicktime DVCPROHD format for PC’s. It has been tested with 720p, 1080i60 and 1080i50 formats, progressive or interlaced. It’s at present a software-based decoder and so runs slower than the Apple decoder on typical Macs which use hardware acceleration.

    For full-size, full quality real-time playback of the 720/24P format for example, you must have a Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent.

    The quality can be controlled with the Raylight control panel if you have the Raylight system (release version or demo) installed. Raylight Blue or Raylight Yellow are supported by the Quicktime decoder, but not Red.
