P2 store transfers 4x faster to my iBook G4 than my G5 tower?
With my p2 store usb plugged into my 1 ghz ibook g4 it takes under 5 minutes to transfer a 4 GB card.
On my Dual 2 Ghz PowerPC G5 it takes over 22 minutes for the same card to transfer.The iBook has 768 MB Ram, Mac OSX 10.3.9.
The G5 has 2.5 GB Ram, Mac OSX 10.4.8.
System info on both says the P2 store is connected using usb 2 at transfer speeds up to 480 Mb/sec.
What am I missing?

Trying copy the LASTCLIP.TXT file over separately than the CONTENTS folder.
Many report this speeds things

What port are you plugging the P2 Store into? If you’re plugging it into the keyboard or a USB 1.x hub, you’ll get slower transfers than if you plug it directly into any of the USB 2.0 ports on the Mac.
