I also use Riteks exclusively. I posted a great deal I found on Verbatims, but I didn’t buy them cuz I’m adicted to Ritek. BTW, I did encounter one bad disc a few weeks ago. Its the only Ritek coaster I’ve ever created.

There’s no reason to use a PSD if you have no layers.

Don’t save as TIFFs, try PNGs.

It all depends upon what other cards are installed and where. If slot 4, the upper most slot is available, try it there first.

All of the Princo discs I had have become useless. I think they used some pretty stinky dye. Are they still in business?

I haven’t encountered any problems with that in a long while. I can remember not that long ago when the reall data would write in a minute and the dummy data would take like fifteen, but something changed at some point. I just forgot about it.

Get Cocktail, a freeware utility, and turn journaling off after formating.

The things you mention here are not germaine to the subject matter at hand. DVD video is a file format readable and playable by set top players, and how its stamped or recorded to disc is a different matter. The fact that you can copy and play (on a set top DVD player) the TS_Video file (not copy protected of course) from a replicated (stamped) DVD to a DVD-R is not an accident, and it should tell you something. More importantly, as Ken pointed out, Susan has been left with the impression that its okay to print the DVD logo on her box.

Its not a software thing Chris, its a hardware thing. The plugin you want is a Blackmagic or Kona card.
