True. I started using Bridge a while ago and wondered why it’s not as popular. Especially the “import from bridge” option in all their applications. Hmm.

I noticed you’re using 2 null objects to define the points, so I tried it out using a shape layer as the arrow.
I made the arrow 3D and used this expression in its Position:
(thisComp.layer("1").position+thisComp.layer("2").position)/2This places it directly in between the two.
Two rotate it in the right direction, I used this in the Orientation:
lookAt(thisComp.layer("1").position,thisComp.layer("2").position);It won’t be completely right, but you can use the X,Y and Z rotation properties to offset and get it pointing the correct way. It also depends on how you drew the shape and which direction it was facing originally.
Hope this helps 😀Ideas to Creations | Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Digital Art inspiration, tutorials and much more!

Hmm, I’m not sure how to solve this particular problem, but when I work with SourceText I find you can add strings.
Example, I can use a Slider to control a number representing a %, and I need that symbol at the end and the digits within square brackets. I can do it like this:"["+Math.floor(effect("Slider Control")("Slider"))+"]%"This method doesn’t always work, as I found without the “Math.floor” rounding off the slider the expression doesn’t work, but hopefully it should help with your case, as you can replace the slider reference with a reference to another text layer.
Hope it helped 🙂

Tried that, but whenever the hook touches the ground, the spline goes nuts, points fly all over the place.

What card was it?
I experience the same problem with my Sapphire Radeon 6850 when OpenGL is on.
My solution was one of two:
1. Switch off openGL in Preferences.
2. Rollback to old driver 12.3.Same problem with a 7870.
I’ve contacted AMD but they say it’s a software problem. I emailed Maxon and they’re yet to get back to me…Ideas to Creations | Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Digital Art inspiration, tutorials and much more!

Wow thanks! For some reason I assumed Cubic wouldn’t move with the object.
Thanks for the learnings 😀Ideas to Creations | Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Digital Art inspiration, tutorials and much more!

Hi!
A graphics card doesn’t have much impact with Cinema4D, so the 680/690 would be overkill. I’m also a gamer, so I’m going for the 670, best value:performance ratio according to reviews online. If you can, I’d recommend getting a Quadro. They’re made for workstations. perhaps a Quadro 4000Ideas to Creations | Motion Graphics, Visual Effects and Digital Art inspiration, tutorials and much more!
