Hi there! I’m new to C4D, and have the R13 version of the program. Whenever I attempt to switch the view (from one screen to four), it shuts down. Every time. As long as I don’t do that, it’s fine. I even installed a new graphics card, which did not help at all. Also, I was using R12, prior to the new purchase, and that one gave me no problems at all. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

    What card was it?
I experience the same problem with my Sapphire Radeon 6850 when OpenGL is on.
My solution was one of two:
    1. Switch off openGL in Preferences.
    2. Rollback to old driver 12.3.

    Same problem with a 7870.
I’ve contacted AMD but they say it’s a software problem. I emailed Maxon and they’re yet to get back to me…
