Good idea, sometimes you can’t see the easy solutions thought the technology. Log the clips and batch capture sounds like the way to go.
Thanks,

We had this problem, it was a setting in our FX-1. I don’t have the camera here, I will look at it tomorrow and post the offending menu item.

Have you tried monitoring the audio thought the computer? If it’s okay then I would think it’s the AJA box.

I notice you still have to click on the video tab to get Boris Static to load when you’re starting a new graphic.
Yeah that is such a weird thing having to click on the video tab.
While I’ll try installing on one of our other sysems and see what happens.
Thanks, for your input.

Thanks, did you uninstall before installing 3.04?
You can drag it to the timeline first and then edit the generator.Dajen Productions

Anybody else?Danrnw, One of our systems is very similar to yours except we use the AJA LA and one of my editors just finshed editing two shows working five 18 hour days with NO crashes. It seems like a Aurora Problem more than a FCP problem.

[Bret Williams] “Isn’t this stuff covered in the first chapter of the manual or something? The hot key is right there in the menu somewhere. “
We use the option key all the time to temporarily unlink clips. I went through the whole pdf manual and it talks about Linked Selection. It doesn’t explain the difference between Linked and Linked Selection. It seem odd there is no indicator when using Linked Selection, the clips remain underlined yet the link is broken.
(The clip is linked if it is underlined. Linked clips are completely different from the concept of linked selection.)
