HDV Print to tape a dud!
Hello out there, got a problem with FCP printing a HDV job to a Sony ZU1. I want
to use the firewire connection even though I have a decklink sp card. I have
set the camera up in HDV mode, but no image goes down on tape. Had to go
through hours of conforming but still no image on the ZU1 screen. My FCP
settings are for HDV playback, but still no luck. Any help would be
appreciated.

We had this problem, it was a setting in our FX-1. I don’t have the camera here, I will look at it tomorrow and post the offending menu item.

These are the setting we use for our FX-1
Switch to VTR in the menu setting:
In/Out Rec:
i.Link Conv=OFF
A?V – DV OUT=OFFHTH
