Yes your right. I had that problem before when I rendered drom 1440 x 1080 to 720 x 480. Try rendering to a lossles, but same resoultion and aspect ratio, then render that to the other size. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Did your new clip sound right played from the timeline? You can edit in the timeline very easily. Hold control and drag clip to a new track, this copies it. Then drag the adges of the copy so it leaves you with just what you want. Normal work flow with the trimmer is, from the bin to the trimmer, then to the timeline. If the new track sound right in the timeline, then you must be adding the old one from the explorer, and not your project media window. your new clip will be it there. Danny Hays

Here’s a free app that will join clips together, as well as split into smaller pieces.

After you sync the tracks in the timeline, bounce to track. That will give you a new clip with the new synced audio. Danny Hays

I would think that would have to be a Blackmagic made capture format, and not a non-Blackmagic capture app. Do you mean like an .m2t format?
Unless you need a transport stream mpeg for a server that needs that, why would you want that, just out of curiosity? Most people are looking for just the opposite.
You may be able to use an HDV camera that can use component in and output .m2t on the fly. .m2t has just 2 I frames per a 30 frame second. Hope this helps,

I have yet to play with a motion tracker, gotta try that.
But in your senareo, if the camera was on a trypod, and didn’t move, AND the nothing else in the video moved except the guy walking, you can remove him.
Just place cropped pieces of the same spot with out him over top of him.
