These are pricey plug-ins so go through the bundles at their website to see what they all do.
I got them all, but that was during a half price sale.

Digital Film Tools has some plug-ins that can add some post lighting effects. The underline means it is a link.

It’s not NTSC it is the MPAA. They think it adds another difficulty in getting bootlegged DVD’s. They also think they wouldn’t be able to control when DVD’s are released in different regions.
You can use DVDxCopy (a brilliant program) in other countries to make backup or viewing copies of your DVD’s but the MPAA crushed them out of existance fearing bootlegged copies in the USA.
Feel free to Google.com it,

But isn’t Command(Apple)+F12 “External Video All Frames” in Final Cut Pro?
I think Option+F12 is available.

All the thanks go to Shane for his stock answers to FAQ’s. It was evening here on the west coast and I wasn’t sure he was monitoring this forum at the time.
The only thing that I would add to the number 4 check is by pressing the shortcut Shift+Z (Shift plus Z together) while clicked in the Canvas will do a “Fit to Window”. Shift+Z also works in the sequence timeline window when you want to see all your clips without scrolling.
You might find Final Cut Pro 4 Default Keyboard Set-up .PDF helpful. It is the best color coded printable keyboard map I have ever found. You can open it up in Mac OS X Prview or Adobe Acrobat and do a key word search like ‘mark’ and it will take you to every instance of mark like ‘mark in’ or ‘mark out’.

From Shane Ross:

#8 External Monitor Viewing.Shane’s Stock Answer #8:
A simple path is mac > firewire > camera or deck > rca cables > tv
Then start up your camera and tv, then open fcp.
Then go View > External video > all frames
Video playback should be Apple firewire NTSC (If you are using an NTSC set)
Audio playback should be Audio follows VideoTechinially, this should send synched video to your TV
If for some reason you can’t view your timeline on your external monitor, there are a few things to try:
1) Make sure that the camera/deck is connected and powered on BEFORE you open FCP.
2) In the Final Cut Pro menu select AUDIO/VIDEO Preferences and make sure your signal is being sent out thru Firewire DV.
3) Go to the menu and select VIEW>EXTERNAL>ALL FRAMES.
4) Click in the % box above the image and select FIT TO WINDOW.
5) Go to VIEW->refresh A/V devices
6) Make sure the Log & Capture window is closed
If you want it to play in both the canvas and the external monitor you need to go to the FINAL CUT PRO menu and select AUDIO/VIDIO settings and make sure MIRROR ON DESKTOP is selected under the PLAYBACK OUTPUT section

I have used one of their keyboards when I made the switch from Media100 to Final Cut Pro and it was very useful that way.
There is also Bella Final Cut keyboards with built-in job/shuttle control.
WorldTech Devices–Specialty Keyboard Manufacturer– is another manufacturer.

One of the coolest keyboards to come out of CES is the Optimus keyboard even though they didn’t have one specifically for FCP.
