January 16, 2006 at 8:26 pmI have used one of their keyboards when I made the switch from Media100 to Final Cut Pro and it was very useful that way.
There is also Bella Final Cut keyboards with built-in job/shuttle control.
WorldTech Devices–Specialty Keyboard Manufacturer– is another manufacturer.
Sidebar:
One of the coolest keyboards to come out of CES is the Optimus keyboard even though they didn’t have one specifically for FCP. Scroll down the page and check out the OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) programming possibilities.Final Cut Pro 4 Default Keyboard Set-up .PDF is the best color coded printable keyboard map I have ever found. You can open it up in Mac OS X Prview or Adobe Acrobat and do a key word search like ‘mark’ and it will take you to every instance of mark like ‘mark in’ or ‘mark out’.
Inquiring minds…
Bryce WhitesideDon’t worry Mr. B. I have a cunning plan…

January 18, 2006 at 1:41 pmGreat bit of kit!!!! I’ve been using a Logic FCP keyboard for ages now, and the build quality is as good as Apple’s…….well it would be it’s the same keyboard with colour coded key’s.
Checkout Ebay, that’s where I got mine, a lot cheaper than a dealer.
Also, if you are looking for a Shuttle I would recommend a ‘Shuttle Express’, bargain price, and it does the job.All the best
