If Keynote was able to remain true to any animated transitions iWork would be a must have for only $79. …uh, it’s a must have anyway. If the PowerPoint just went to slide to slide without transitions or not very sophisticate transitions you should be in the pink with Keynote 2.

I must say that CreativeCow.net has a better forum structure than other forums. 2-pop.com has what you suggest in breaking down FCP in every possible level of competence and hardware combination. I find it EXTREMELY cumbersome.

Occasionally I go over there when I think I might have missed something concerning FCP. Then again, I might just do it just for the fun of putting hot pokers in my eyes.

Here Search Posts is an option for you. At 2-pop.com you almost have to use the Search function.

Or just create an action in Photoshop to batch convert files from the best possible digital camera that you can afford to standard FCP file sizes.

I’m a Photoshop guy, but it seem that other image/picture manipulation programs — perhaps iPhoto or Lemke Software GraphicConverter ( https://www.lemkesoft.de/en/index.htm )– can batch convert high quality digital photos to your desired resolution. Look on your Mac. You will probably find that they are already installed.
