The bucky has each face divided but that gives more lines than you want in the Atom Array. If you select the two polys on any face then do a Functions/Melt it turns the face into one n-gon which now doesn’t have that extra, unwanted edge. You can do more than one face at a time but you can’t do to many or it ‘melt’s’ too much.

Cloner Object in Object mode. Pin object as child of Cloner and the surface the pins are stuck to in the Object slot of the Cloner Object’s ‘Object’ tab. Then uncheck Align Clone in that same tab.

[renderedHero] “300 DPI (i don’t know if this is necessary “

this should only affect print size (and crispness)

Otherwise, for starters put a Compositing Tag on every transparent object (all that glass) and uncheck ‘Seen by GI’

You can animate the Material in the Texture tags ‘Tag Properties’ (so you animate from one material to another) or you can animate the color of one material. Both are more or less the same.

weeds – thicker maybe, taller, but with a large random height I would think. Maybe the Feather Object could do a good weed. And maybe more than one set of hair for maximum difference. Something like Nature Spirit or XFrog would work (not free though)

I got a reply from Maxon

    ————————-
This is a known bug that myself and several other beta testers have reported to the developers at MAXON. Unfortunately there is no fix at the moment other than to use an earlier version of Cinema 4D than R10.5. Everything works as expected in R10.111 and below. I assure you the developers have been made well aware of this issue, so hopefully things will be working as expected in the next dot upgrade of Cinema 4D R10.

I see. I tried a setup (cloth tag on plane – collider tag on cube in an animated null) in 9.6 and got what I expected – the cube moves the cloth. I brought that into 10.5 (well, the demo of 10.5) and it punches straight through, only rippling the cloth as it goes through – I get better but inconsistent results by moving the collider tag to the null containing the cube….

try putting the collision object in a null and animate the null not the collision object
