Here’s whacha “gotta do.
Get a DV camcorder ahd shoot the LCD screen while the computer plays the QT file.
Should only take about 40-50 hours of shooting time.
Then capture the footage.
Should only take about 40-50 hours of capture time.
The add the titles.
Should only take about 20-40 hours of edit time.
Then create QT movies of these edits.
Should only take about 80-100 hours of computing time.
They “saved some money” with the original recording technique.
Now you can make a fortune “fixing” it.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!

There is an FCP plug-in from Digital Heaven called DHBox.
Set boundries to crop an image, and pan/zoom within those boundaries.The cost is AMAZING…

Whzt title generator are you using?
You should avoid the built-pin FCP tltlers.You should be using the Boris “Title 3D” generator INCLUDED on the FCP install discs.
With Title 3D, you can adjust every aspect of
size, color, softness , position, opacity, etc.
on the font, the edge, and the shadow. -
Give details of what level the FCP meters read (and if its just PEAKS or AVERAGE)?

The best cure for many common tech problems is “having a good MEMORY”.
i.e. “The last time I had an “X” problem, I had to do “Y” to fix it.”
People who actually WORK WITH the gear have totally DIFFERENT “RELATIONSHIPS” with the gear than those who are designers or repair-techs.
This is also the same contrast of “book-learnin’ vs. practical expereience”.
Education and theory are essential, but nothing can teach you more than the times you are “under-the-gun” and MUST solve problems “NOW”.So yes, these boards can connect people with similar experiences (and memories of problems-SOLVED.)

If you don’t have any timecode that’s common to both sets of audio tracks, you’ll need to capure the audio from the SD7444 and just manually match it to the audio tracks from the camera.
Then either delete of turn off the camera’s audio tracks. -
How are you monitoring FCP’s audio output?
