How would one change the audio referenced for a clip? We shot with a Varicam and Sound Devices 744T. We mixed down to stereo for the Varicam and now we want to take the 744T audio and pop it onto those video clips. There has got to be a way to do this. Anyone?

If you don’t have any timecode that’s common to both sets of audio tracks, you’ll need to capure the audio from the SD7444 and just manually match it to the audio tracks from the camera.
Then either delete of turn off the camera’s audio tracks.

matching it up isn’t that difficult either, especially if your slated, and remember you can toggle the sound waves on and off with

apple-ctrl-w….i believe, i know the hotkey more with my fingers, than with the actual keys!
