    g4 400 mhz
    512 mb sdram
    sony handycam pal

    hello everybody! and thanks for your help.

    now, for some reason on the Capture Presets of the Audio/Video Settings, the input camera set is a canon dv, and i don’t get to change it, because mine is a sony, and actually doesn’t show up… everywhere says it is missing, but i have it connected, and i can even comand it from the log and capture window…
    so, i can’t capture any footage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    can anybody help me, please?

    My FCP4.5 setup (which works properly) also says CanonDV in the DV capture settings listings. At first I made a duplicate setting, and changed it to Sony, to match my DSR-25 deck.
    But after trashing preferences a while ago the setting reverted to CanonDV. As this works as well as the Sony setting, I’ve left it….
    Your capture failure issue is a different thing.
