what’s the exact version of FCP and BCC? Note that there are two chromakey filters included with BCC: BCC ChromaKey under Keying and BCC Chroma Key Studio under BCS Key group.

There is currently no morph plugin for RED, sorry. I’ll add it to the wish list for you. As far as strobe render, you should be able to achieve the effect by applying BCC Posterize Time filter to the entire project. The filter lives in the Time category under Filters menu. Make sure to press the Help button in the filter UI to see the pdf doc. You may have to render out your video first to a file and re-import the file for best results.
Good Luck

Heather,
thanks for asking. Here is a dedicated page for Boris FX tutorials.
https://www.borisfx.com/tutorials/#null
Please let us know if you find any of these tutorials helpful.
Also, many RED tutorials that do not deal with text are applicable to FX. FX is a slimmed down version of RED that provides transitions, filtering and compositing while Graffiti is for text generation.
I hope you did not waste money.

The missing link may be the 64 bit version of Vegas 9. Unfortunately, we have not yet released 64 bit plugins for 64 bit Vegas. We do support 32 bit version of Vegas (7, 8 or 9) running in 32 bit or 64 bit OS.
I know, all this is a mouthful of bits and digits but that’s where things stand today.

We have a number of tutorials on the Chart feature in RED and Graffiti. Try to search for “Chart” using the search field on borisfx.com. You’ll come up with a dozen references. Keep in mind that Graffiti and RED is the same when it comes to charts.
A few links for your convenience.

First let me acknowledge the problem. It first appeared in FCP7. We believe it was fixed in FCP 7.01. Please check which minor version of FCP you are on and see if an update solves the problem.
Sorry for trouble,

Bob,
While Blue on Mac is still unavailable I’d like to point out that the same OGL 3D technology is released as 3D Objects for After Effects, Final Cut and Avid on both Mac and Windows platforms. Although 3D objects are limited to spline-based extrusions and primitive shapes they encompass most popular features of Boris Blue. 3D Objects are available as a separate unit or as part of BCC 6 package.
Sorry for not answering your question directly. But did you really expect a direct answer? Or perhaps just a rumor… anyone out there with a good rumor?

Hi Kenny,
Off the top of my head I can’t explain the missing filter but I’ll ask our support to come on this thread to help.

What’s the exact name of the BCC transition? And what “incomplete” exactly means? Off the top of my head I can tell that either the transition settings need adjustment or the system does not finish rendering because of a technical reason. Anyway, more info could help solve the problem.
